Volunteers
Eisteddfod volunteers are the backbone of this wonderful event. Everyone who works to organise and run the Warrnambool Eisteddfod is a volunteer. The committee of the Society are volunteers themselves with some also having the volunteer role of convener for one of the disciplines.
They, along with almost 200 volunteers, give their time, effort and passion so young people in our region can have the chance to further their aspirations in the Arts.
Each section requires many support people to enable it to run in an organised, supportive and efficient manner. You don’t need a background in the Arts - just a desire to support young people in their aspirations and a Working With Children Check.
Opportunities to work on the registration desk, in the box office, be on stage chairing sections, assisting with stage management like music or curtain operators, or acting as a scribe to the adjudicator are just some of the roles available.

As a volunteer, you could give as much or as little time you have, in a role that works for you.
